UCR fees are due annually and normally collected by the UCR Board of Directors in the 4th quarter between October 1 and December 31 for the upcoming year. The start of the 2024 UCR registration period will begin on October 1, 2023. The UCR fees are established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The 2024 UCR fees will reflect fee reduction over 2023 period. On June 22, 2023, the FMCSA published in the Federal Register, the final proposed fees for 2024 UCR (https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2023/06/22/2023-13204/fees-for-the-unified-carrier-registration-plan-and-agreement#:~:text=The%20reduction%20in%20fees%20for,operated%20by%20the%20affected%20entities).

As such, the final 2023 & 2024 UCR, as well as each subsequent year fees are known and UCR registrations can now be submitted with processing agents with systems that account for the established UCR fees.
